Project Summary

The Kentfield PS 15 Improvements will replace old or outdated system infrastructure and enhance local wastewater system reliability and efficiency. The project is being completed at a cost of $2 million.

Located in Kentfield, the pump station is along Marin County Bicycle Route 20, adjacent to Corte Madera Creek and just south of Stadium Way.

Project Construction Will Include

  • Use of Marin County Bicycle Route 20 for equipment/trucks to access the Pump Station.
  • Rehabilitation of portions of the existing pump station, including inlet channel modifications, concrete repairs, manhole modification and rehabilitation and the installation of new electrical equipment.
  • Bypass pumping connections and ancillary work.

What You Can Expect

Once the contractor is ready to deliver and install the new pump station equipment, several pickup trucks will arrive and depart each day along Marin County Bicycle Route 20. Trucks will enter from Bon Air Road and travel along Corte Madera Creek to the Pump Station.

Please expect noise, dust, partial bike lane closures and travel delays near the work site during construction activity. All construction equipment and materials will be stored within the fenced area surrounding the Pump Station. Local emergency access will be maintained at all times.
