Ross Valley Sanitary District was established in 1899 and for over a century has been dedicated to protecting public health and preserving the environment. The RVSD service area includes Fairfax, San Anselmo, Ross, Larkspur, Bon Air, Sleepy Hollow, Kentfield, Kent Woodlands, Oak Manor and Greenbrae.

The RVSD infrastructure that we operate and maintain in your neighborhood includes a portion of the 196 miles of sewer pipelines and 19 pump stations which collect, pump and transport approximately 4 million gallons per day of wastewater to the Central Marin Sanitation Agency wastewater treatment plant in San Rafael.
