who we are

Established May 27, 1899, Ross Valley Sanitary District is the oldest sanitary district in Marin County and may be the oldest sanitary district in California. Its boundaries include 26.75 square miles of the Ross Valley water shed comprised of the towns of Fairfax, San Anselmo, and Ross; the City of Larkspur (including Bon Air); and the unincorporated areas known as Sleepy Hollow, Kentfield, Kent Woodlands, Oak Manor, and Greenbrae. Under contract, the District also serves the wastewater collection systems in Murray Park and San Quentin Prison. Read more...

Upcoming Regular Meeting

The RVSD Board normally meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The July meeting has been rescheduled for July 29, 2009 06:45 PM in the Board Room at 1301 Andersen Drive, San Rafael, CA 94901.
